WJ specializes in treating various brain and spinal cord/spine diseases, including minimally invasive treatment of brain tumors (using lasers or focused ultrasound), comprehensive treatment of gliomas, stereotactic biopsy of tumors, minimally invasive destructive surgery, and genetic pathology diagnosis of brain tumors; especially deep brain stimulation for conditions like Parkinson's Disease, tremors, and dystonia (using CRW, Leksell), epilepsy, pain, Tourette's Syndrome, and depression; adept at minimally invasive spine surgery, decompression/fusion for complex degenerative spinal diseases, surgical or comprehensive treatment of spinal tumors, dealing with atlantoaxial malformations/Chiari malformations, and are skilled in spinal cord stimulators/drug pumps.
